# escapeHtml

escapeHtml() function is the Standard function available in 200OK

**Description** : The escapeHtml function escapes HTML tags within the provided string.

**Syntax** : fx\_escapeHtml(string)

**Example** : fx\_escapeHtml(\<tag>string\<tag>) returns 'string', removing the HTML tags from the string.

**Scenario** :  In a content management system, users often need to sanitize user input to prevent HTML injection attacks. They utilize fx\_escapeHtml function to escape HTML tags from strings. For example, fx\_escapeHtml(\<tag>string\<tag>) returns 'string', effectively removing HTML tags from the string.
